Receiving the Invitation: New Member
When you are working in a LAN environment or with SMTP/POP3 email, the invitation will route to you behind the scenes.
Once you receive an Invitation, you will be notified a couple ways:
- A balloon from the dispatcher in your system tray will appear stating: Invitation: Path to Root Folder Needed. Click on this to enter the location where you want to store your project files.
- The dispatcher dialog will open to the Quarantine tab if no action is taken to the balloon prompt. You will see listed a script with a status "Invitation requires user action". Select the script and the up arrow from the toolbar to release the script from Quarantine. You will then be prompted for the location where you want to store the project files.
You can reject the invitation by checking the Reject button.
Remember, the Invitation contains the entire project. It may take a few minutes to receive the invitation even after providing the path for the root folder.
After you provide the root path and the complete invitation is received, Code Co-op will finish creating your local copy of the project. Once this is done, you can open the project and start making changes.
